Shark Tank Kodiak Cakes, Monkey Mat, Paint Brush Cover, Plated & Grace & Lace Update
Getting Shark Tank viewers hungry for breakfast during prime time television are Cameron Smith and Joel Clark. Smith & Clark pitch their like of breakfast items called Kodiak Cakes. Kodiak Cakes offers pancake & waffle mixes along with syrups, muffins and more. Kodiak Cakes is based in Park City, Utah. If you are wondering why you have seen so many entrepreneurs from Utah on Shark Tank, it is because there was a very successful open casting call that the producers of the show had in Utah. The products are not Gluten free, but are GMO-free according to the company. Kodiak cakes can be found in many stores, such as Wal-Mart, Target, Safeway, Albertons and more. They can also be bought online at the company website and on Amazon.com. Since they already have distribution with brick and mortar locations, expect the duo to ask the sharks for capital to expand production capabilities.
Parents of young children have a lot to pack and carry with them when venturing out. So any product to simplify the lives of parents has the chance to be a big hit. The Monkey Mat gets pitched on the Shark Tank by Courtney Turich and Christie Barany. Monkey Mats are handy mats that can be used with small children at the park and other outdoor venues. Monkey Mats are machine washable, contain multiple pouches for convenient storage of keys and other small items, and have built in weighted corners so they blanket stays on the ground and in place more than a regular blanket. Monkey Mats can be handy for many venues, beaches, lake side, camping and more. Monkey are also spill resistant. Monkey Mats are so far only available online. Monkey are five feet by five feet square blankets.
Sometimes there are some ideas that pop up on Shark Tank as ‘no-brainers.’ Well, The Paint Brush Cover is one of those no-brainers. Three partners, Sal DePaola, John DePaola, and Anthony Caputo are the trip behind The Paint Brush Cover. The name is simple in that it describes the product. The product is a cover for a paint brush that allows it to be stored wet with paint and not have the brush dry out and ruin the brush hairs. This is handy for when there are interruptions with a painting project such as lunch or anything else. The Paint Brush Covers are airtight and see through, so if there are multiple brushes being covered, it is easy which brush is which.
For busy people on the go, preparing meals can be a frustrating process. Also, getting proper nutrition is a challenge, if it is the same meals over and over.
